James Blasingame Obituary
Bub was born March 17, 1948 in Bonham, the son of James Lee Blasingame and Myra A. Hester Blasingame. He attended Dodd City High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy. Bub was a member of Dodd City Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Sylvia Brown and Margaret Vacca.
He is survived by his daughter, Shari Dill of Tom Bean; sisters, Brenda Snow and Sharen Banker and husband, Jackie, all of Bonham, and Karen Day of Dallas; grandchildren, Sarah Beth Higgs and Jacob Alan Higgs; nephews and niece, Lee Banker and wife, Heather, Steven Banker, Kristina Parker and Troy Snow; great-nieces and nephews, Chabon Williamson, Melody Williamson, James Banker, Lucas Banker, Lyndsey Snyder and Joey Snyder.
The family will receive friends from 7 -8 p.m. Tuesday at Wise Funeral Home. Online guest register www.wisefuneralhome.com.

My condolences to Bub's family for your loss. Bub and I joined the Navy together April 1967. We spent basic training in the same company in San Diego,CA. and then we were stationed in Groton, Connecticut for a while. My thought's and prayers are with you.
