So sorry to hear of this loss. We were lucky enough to have him as a neighbor. Thinking of you in this tough time.

Jim was a wonderful neighbor and friend to all. An inveterate walker who embraced family & friends. He was such a gentleman with a sincere appreciation for his family. May God rest his gentle soul. Condolences to Joan and the Bogdan family.

Sending love to the entire family during this difficult time. Mr. Bogdan was a wonderful man who exuded kindness and care to all. I will miss seeing his quick walk through the neighborhood. Sending thoughts and prayers to all.

One of the best professors I ever had. He brought such enthusiasm to his lectures. His love of history made me love history, truelly a good soul. RIP

George, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time...

Father Jim came to Columbus to marry my husband, Zsolt and I. He also baptised our first child, Thalia in 2009. Father Jim was always kind, and patient. He always asked how we were and took the time to sit and listen to what we were up to. He especially liked talking children and telling them stories.

Majoring in history, I began my college education at what was then GRJC in the late '60s. In fact, Father Jim was the first professor I had in that subject. His lectures were organized and interesting. I still remember some of his historical gems. May he rest in the eternal peace that he has merited.

Father Jim was our cousin and favorite priest. We are so glad we were able to visit him and Joan last February. Our memories of Jim are memories of kindness, caring and good humor. We are so lucky that it was Jim who joined in Holy Matrimony Mikaela and Zsolt and who baptized Thalia and Peter. We will miss him, but he will be forever in our hearts.

Fr. Jim was an exceptional person. Highly intelligent. He was my teacher in GRJC, and I also worked with him professionally. He now has earned his Just Reward. Peace Be With You, Fr. Jim. Prayer for us.

You have been a wonderful neighbor for almost 40 years. Thank you for your loving and faithful presence.
