My deepest condolences to the entire Brizendine family on James' passing.
Being part of the Brizendine's family of friends for 50+ years has been one of God's richest blessings for me and my family.
I pray that the faith, love, trust and support that you have given so many of us will be overflowing in this difficult time of mourning the passing of such a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
I fondly remember James' trying to help me get Kim, who was playing, out from under the temporary building during one of Sunset's vacation Bible Schools.
Yes, I believe Life is a cycle and I know the spirit of this wonderful man and his family lives in the lives and memories of a multitude.
My love, appreciation and prayers to the entire Brizendine Family.

This article expounds James' love for his wife. I guess the fruit does not fall very far from the tree. I once worked for Bill Brizendine and the thing I remember the most was his love for Radien and his family. I was amazed that every day at lunch time Bill talked on the phone with Radien and Paul, who was just a little boy. I remember about Paul having his tonsils removed and the "what do you want walls?" episode. I often tell the story and still laugh at it, after 40 years.
Life is a cycle, and I am eternally amazed that no matter how fleetingly people come into and go out of your life, some leave memories that last forever.
God bless you Bill and Radien and I pray that God sustains you in this period of deepest grief.
