Growing up with Julie as my best friend, I spent a lot of time at the Brooks' home. Mr and Mrs Brooks were like a second set of parents to me. Mr Brooks was a true Southern gentleman. I always enjoyed seeing him in recent years since I moved back to SC. He would always give me a huge hug and a big smile. I will miss him. My deepest condolences to the Brooks' family.
