James "Jim" BRYDON

Sorry to hear of the passing of Jim Brydon. He and my grandfather Dr. Robert "Bob" Turner wrote a number of research papers together while at the Soil Research Institute at the Central Experimental Farm in the mid to late 1960's.

I send my condolences to the Brydon family on Jim's death. Jim and I joined the City View Curling Club on its opening in 1957. We enjoyed many curling battles over the years. He was a fine curler and a fine man. My deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Although I had not seen Jim for a few years now, I do remember him fondly from when I worked at Churchill Sr Rec Centre. Always smiling, always happy. A good man for sure. My condolences to you Ruth and your family.

I will always remember "Dr. J" as a loving husband and father with an incredible sense of humour and positive outlook on life.

We are sorry to hear of Jim's passing, and will miss our happy chats at Dovercourt. We will remember him fondly at his commemorative bench in the park, and we will insure that when we do our building expansion, that the bench finds a new place in the sun in honour of our friend Jim.

Ruth and family we were so sorry and sad to hear of Jim's passing. I think our family are the "lucky" ones for having such an amazing friend and person part of our lives.
