Dr. Bullock was such an amazing, kind, thoughtful, gentle man with one of the kindest hearts I have ever met. I am honored to have met such a man. My Deepest sympathies go out to all the family and friends. The Rainbow bridge welcomed a warrior for every animal he helped. GOD SPEED

James' Mother my Aunt Fay was my favorite Aunt ever! I was a freshman in high school when James was born and he took the center point from that day. I remember, when I sent over to Aunt Fay to give one of the Spaniel dog a series of shots, James was there watching every move, learning. One time I had an old trashed made in China knife that I used more as a garden tool than anything else. Young James wanted it. I gave it to him with the warning that it could not hold an edge. The next time I saw that knife, it was sharp, bright and I knew that young James would be one of those guys you would want to know. Life separated us, I to Viet Nam in the Marine's and James on to High School, Premed and LSU Vet. Med. All alone we would touch base and I was always proud of my cousin.

Landon and Logan, we never got to know you closely, but you are indeed blessed to have had a Father like James. There is no one who could love his daughters more or be prouder of his daughters than James. Knowing him, the work that you both will do will be his legacy to all mankind. Jackie, you and I only met one time after you and James got married, and you were ever so sick laying on the couch. But I knew then that James had a winner in you because though you were sick you were being a part of the family. You are blessed by our Father-Mother God in whom is no death, but everlasting Love for us all.

Good Life Cousin!

Why did I want to play first base?
The best I can remember; I was 7-8 years old when I met James Bulloch. My brother, David, and James were the same age. My dad, Clayton, coached city league baseball and that's how I met Bulloch (I'm not sure that I ever heard anyone call him James). Being the snotty nosed kid that lived to aggravate anyone my brother was associated with was my life's goal. James Bulloch was the only one of the older guys that I always looked forward to seeing. If I had just seen him the day before it didn't matter because Bulloch always made me feel like he was glad to see me. He had the most amazing sense of humor. He could make everyone laugh without offending anyone.
Why did I want to play first base? Because Bulloch, the one that even though he was six years older than me, the one that always made me feel like I mattered....he played first base.
I hope my mother, Lynn, met him at the pearly gates. She always loved him and he loved her too.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep you all in my prayers in the days to come. He was one of the most caring vets I have ever met. I started taking my pets to Palmetto Animal Hospital when he first opened. He was a genuine person and did what he could to help his clients and patients. Dr. Bulloch even brought the scales and lab equipment to my house to do my dogs yearly check up since I had 6 big dogs at the time. Always helpful and caring. He will be missed by me and this community. PAH has become family over the years.

James had such a sweet and loving personality. I know James in his early days in Monroe. We would all go over to Aunt Faye s house for a big fish fry after his Dad and a group of guys went deep sea fishing. He was always laughing , cutting up always had a that smile smile . My prayers are with the family and friends that loved him so . May God put his loving hands around you in this time.

There's never been a nicer, more compassionate man. He loved his family and had a huge heart. James was always available to help an animal in need. He will be sorely missed and he was deeply loved! - Dorothy Hewitt
