I am not sure what could have happened, but I am forever grateful that the Lord put Pastor Cannon in the right place at the right time. A few children and I were in a church bus that was parked on a hill. He noticed the bus had begun to move, and he had to run and jump on the bus to engage the brakes. And this all with his bad leg. He´d probably never moved so quickly! My husband, Jack, and I were newlyweds under his ministry at Summit View. He was a great blessing to us! Looking forward to seeing him in Heaven. It was wonderful to read about all he has done with his time in this world.

I was a member of his church back in the 70s and 80´s and his preaching will always be dear and special to my heart as he was an excellent Bible teacher- so practical in his teaching, and I appreciated his loving care of his flock so much! he will always hold a special place in my heart!
