I was at Bay High School in 1970 and had Analytical Geometry and Trigonometry with Jim. Most days he would draw a cartoon on the overhead projector before our teacher, Colonel Anderson, came into the room. The whole class would wait for Colonel Anderson to comment on the cartoon, but he never did. He just calmly eased it and started class. I always liked Jim. He was a very nice person even as a teenager. I always wondered where he went after graduation. I´m so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to you, his beloved family. He was one of the truly good men. You were blessed to have him in your lives. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I only met Jim Once about 12 or 15 years ago. He was one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. It was as if we had known each other for years. He also taught me how to fly model airplanes (under supervision), which I remember to this day. We had a great time engaging in one of his passions. The world will miss Jim, including myself.

Eric and I have wonderful memories of visiting and vacationing with Jim. He was a great houseguest who made delicious salsa, helped with the cooking, and helped with the clean up. He was a man of many talents, and we will always cherish the memories of the Jim we knew. Our heartfelt condolences are being sent to his family as they experience this loss. Love and prayers from Kathy and Eric.

The best big brother I could have ever been blessed with. Seeing it in print makes it so real. My heart is broken! He inherited the fun, witty sense of humor of the Casey family and was an all around great guy. He was on my doorstep any time I needed him, which was several times. I can´t imagine life without him, but I have comfort knowing he´s in heaven having a great time with the fun loving Caseys who have gone before. I´ll always love you Jim! "Your sister" Jean

I remember vividly when I was really young Uncle Bear showing me his remote control airplanes and how they work. I was only staying with them for a couple weeks while my parents went on vacation, but it remember it well.
