I was searching for another name in the obituaries and was shocked when I saw Curtis' name. He and I were cousins, but I've not seen him in years. I believe the last time I saw him was several years ago in a store, and he recognized me and talked to me briefly. I'm really sorry to hear about his passing. May God bless you all with His peace and comfort and give you strength to face each new day.

Shelby, Even though we have never met...I am so sorry to hear about Curtis. Even though I have not seen him in years, I will always remember the summer Curtis, Bobby, and Ann shared with us when we were little kids. I will miss him and I am shocked at the news...
May peace be with you.
LouAnn (Davis) Hatcher (distant cousin)

Shelby, no words will ever be enough to express my feelings for the lose of curtis. He was tight with his money but he also did not know what the future would be like so he saved what he could. You lost a husband that loved you and I lose gold panning partner. If you ever need me call and i,ll be there. Bobby.
