Dad you lived that the works of God should be made manifest in you. You worked the works of God who sent you while it was still day: the night came, when no man can work. I miss you every day, but I know where you are and that I'll see you again. I'm carrying on your legacy the best way I know how; I hope you're proud of me. Your clients ask about you all the time, and and the ripples you made are still in the water. All is well. Rest easy Dad. Love Jimmy.

In life, God entrusts us with many gifts. One of the greatest gifts that he gives us is true friendship, and the love of that friend. I have been blessed to witness the love of a binding friendship between Mr. Chestnut and my father, James F. Ross that goes beyond that of biological brothers. They were brothers to be separated only for a brief period by death. They shared not only the same first name, but a level of intelligence, charisma, and nobility that is entrusted to only a few men. Mr. Chestnut lived a life of example, reflecting God's love in what he did, and said. He now sleeps, and waits to hear that resounding voice that says "well done my child, enter into the kingdom. We so want to hear those same words and have a reunion with Mr. Chestnut. There will be no more sickness, and tears, but smiles and joy. Mrs. Chestnut, and family, thank you for sharing your husband, father, and love one with my family.

Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;yet we esteem him stricken, smitten by God and afflicted. Ps 116:15. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Be encouraged, God will see you through.

To Mrs Chestnut and the entire Chestnut family, there is great sorrow in my heart to hear about the death of Brother Chestnut. Bros Chestnut carried himself with such class and dignity which made me have the utmost respect for him. He was a pleasure to work with those many years and I will miss his quick wit and humor. But most of all Bros Chestnut loved Jesus Christ and we can rejoice in knowing that he is with our savior.
