I have missed Jimmy Clarke on stage. As an Asolo season-ticket holder, I became a fan thanks to Jimmy Clarke. No other theater would do because it did not have him. It's been over 20 years now, and he is still synonymous with that place to me. I was on stage with him once as an extra in Inherit the Wind and got to meet him backstage. I saw him in The Crucible, The Count of Monte Cristo, Twelve Angry Men, and so many more. I knew something was wrong when he stopped appearing. I am sorry for the fight he had to endure, but I am sure he did so with the courage and life force he had brought to the stage. R.I.P.

when jimmy came to brookside school he was like a breath...no a blast...of fresh air. he was always getting the most out of life. he did his homework at the breakfast table while eating his corn flakes which made us almost late for school. he dressed in his boy scout uniform while watching the soupy sales show which made us almost late for the friday evening meetings. he let me ride his bicycle once and i got a flat tire and he didn't even blink. he was the epitome of strength and charisma. he wanted to be an actor and he achieved his ambition. he was simply the best!

Jimmy and Patti were neighbors of mine in Beverley Hills during the 90s.
A beautiful couple inside and out, you wanted to be around them.
So generous of heart and fun to be around.
When I got married in 2002 they gave us their home in Australia for our honeymoon.
It was a paradise overlooking the ocean and coral reefs, amazing colourful birds that would visit timely each day.....
He loved Australia and lived life to the fullest.
It's been a long battle
Now you are free to fly ....

So, this page has asked me what will I miss most about Jimmy. He was a bold direct talker and did not suffer fools gladly. But he also had a compassionate sympathetic side. Jimmy was a very global thinker. We had intelligent insightful discussions about the state of our country and the world. Jimmy fought a brave and courageous fight against cancer. For me he is the epitome of a fighting Irish man. Jimmy had a witty dry and some times wicked sense of humor. I never left his company with out a good laugh, I will miss that most.
