To the Colla family,
I want to extend my condolences to the friends and family of Jim Colla.
I had the pleasure of working for Jim, Penny, and Cheryl in the mid 80's. It was a pleasure to be part of the team Jim assembled to make operational KTGF-TV16. I was amazed at how much Jim accomplished in a very short time. He gave me a huge opportunity, I've always been thankful to Jim for that.
It was a lot of fun, being on your team!
Rest In Peace Jim

Colla Family,
Sadden by the lose of your Dad. He was one in a million. Remember working with him on a couple local beauty pageants. His company was filming the Miss Montana pageant. Jim's sense of humor, kept us laughing and made the experience so much worth while.
May your memories with your Dad, console your heart and soul.
With love, Jody Kalafat

Jim, you were a dear friend and one of the most amazing people I have ever had the joy of knowing. Our years working together stand out in my mind as the very best. You had one of the best combinations of business sense and creativity as well as being one of the hardest working. You always had that smile of "grace" no matter what was happening. I still miss you. May you find peace and rest Jim.

I was saddened to hear this piece of news. I always considered Jim as a mentor and a big part of my professional upbringing. Condolences to all of Jim's family and friends. Jim was a larger than life type of man in a John Wayne kind of way. I always thought our paths would cross again. You will be missed.

My condolences to the family. Colossians 3:15 gives the encouragement to "let the peace of the Christ rule in your hearts". May this peace comfort you at this difficult time.

Girls - what a beautiful legacy. First class all the way, as your dad would not want it any other way. Very smart, witty and always let us know who mattered in his life. Your loss is felt by many. Not as deeply as it feels to you girls.....because your rock is not holding your hand physically any longer - but now guiding, protecting, teaching and listening from within your hearts, minds, soul down into your bones. I do understand, that's where he remains for the rest of your journey, here, where you last held his hand and kissed him goodbye. Love, hugs and prayers- whenever you feel alone, at a loss, empty, afraid or anger.....if you ever need me.
