In memory of
James Thomas Connole
May 21, 2007
I
have many wonderful memories with "Grandpa" Connole. I am honored to
hold the name James, for it has been passed down to the first born son
for many generations. I look forward to keeping the tradition alive, in
memory of my Grandpa.

Jim Connole was like a father to me. He was larger than life as head of the family, and respected by all of us connected to the family by marriage. Even though I haven't been a part of the family for years, my condolences to Mom. Dad gave great hugs. I will miss him, too.

May the God you believe in bring you comfort in this sad time.
Jim was such a great man in my estimate. We first met in 1962 when I was sworn in as an officer. Jim was the Lt in charge of Training then. He (and AD Brown) never let me forget the "joke" Jim had me play on AD. I was told to present a "gift" from my class to Sgt Brown. I never saw the "gift", but I, my classmates and AD will always remember that day. We remained friends all these many years. You will be sorely missed.

Jim was one of those rare police administrators who never let his ego get in the way of common sense and his good nature.
A great boss and loyal friend

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It will be two years May 15th that Bill passed away, so I spend time in CA. with my son and his family and time in Florida with my daughter and her family. It is great to have such loving children and grandchildren, and I also have become a greatgrandmother this past year.
