Dr Conroy cared for me as a patient from 1979 - 1994. If it were not for him I would not be alive today! My mother was also a patient of his from 1980 - 1982 at which time she meet her demise. He was the most upbeat happy person. This quality helped keep my morale high and helped me to fight my challenges. He did so much good for this world, may he now be forever peaceful. Dear Nancy, My sincerest condolences on your loss. Dr. Conroy was instrumental in my training as a Hematologist/Oncologist and later as a colleague. It's hard to believe he was retired for nearly 20 years! He will certainly be missed. With kind regards,

I graduated from PCOM in 1976. Dr. Conroy was an outstanding teacher who I always looked up to and admired . I can still hear his booming voice.... When in doubt, do a bone marrow! He was an inspiration and a credit to PCOM. Throughout my years as a physician I've relied on what he taught me and have been so grateful for that. When in in doubt he had come through loud and clear! A true teacher and wonderful physician.

My sincere condolences and prayers for Dr Conroy's family. He was one of my favorite professors at PCOM and a bright light in our quest for quality educational experiences. I did as many rotations with him as I could, following him around Hahnemann questions going back & forth and he remembered everything, good at laughing too. Jim & I fought many battles together. He pioneered getting DO's staff & academic positions in allopathic institutions. He was an excellent teacher & didn't except mediocrity. He will be missed!

Jim was one of a kind; I will remember him fondly as the demanding professor who made you perform at your best yet demonstrated the compassion for all of his patients. He was one of my favorites. He even took care of my mother in her last days. Rest in peace, Jim.

I wish I could have joined Karen to be present for Dr. Conroy's service. As I mentioned in my note to Nancy, he was a remarkable person, whose legacy is marked by love for many and his generous spirit helped all whose character merited his trust. But most of all he was a friend who cared greatly for our children. For that, and for the great example of his life and friendship, I am forever grateful. Ralph Puckett

Dr Conroy was my medical school professor and he had a tremendous influence upon me during my 30 years in practice. And, now that I am a professor at a NJ college I find myself still "pilfering" some of his phrases and approaches---all with great results. The world has lost a warrior and is the worst for it. Please accept my sincere condolences. May God's holy spirit, or active force, equip you with power beyond what is normal to go from one day to the next. (2 Corinthians 4:7) Remember: God can help his faithful servants to endure any and every problem they may face.

I was a lucky nurse to have worked with Dr Conroy. I was luckier to have the pleasure of caring for such a great man in his home. He was always kind and enjoyed our clinical discussions. We had a game of who could stump the other with a new research or medical procedure. I only won one time. Amazing man and you will be dearly missed love and peace kim
