James Teddy Correll

 

Ted “Poppy” Correll, 86 of White Pine, born on June 3, 1937 passed away peacefully on October 7, 2023. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Correll of 56 years; Son, Teddy Correll; Mother, Kathleen Correll; Father, James Nile Correll; Brother, Richard Correll; Sisters, Janice Raines and Nancy Hance. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Sabrina and Phil “Jethro” Burnett; Granddaughters, Lindsay (Aaron Farmer) and Madison Burnett; Great Granddaughter, Lilly Farmer and Grand-dog Gus Rat. He has several nieces and nephews that he loved so much that made his life even more full. There was never a dull moment with Ted around, he kept everyone laughing. He enjoyed riding around with the top down, going camping, taking beach trips, playing with his little dog Scruffy, and always loved being around everyone. He lived a full life during his 86 years and loved telling stories about it. While he will be missed so much, we know it was a joyous reunion with his wife, son, and everyone else he has lost along the way. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Leadvale Baptist Church between the hours of 5:00pm - 7:00pm, the funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Brandon Cate officiating. Graveside Internment service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 1:00pm in White Pine Cemetery. The pallbearers are nephews Mark Williams, Jody Raines, Brian Eisenhower, Bronson Parker, Justin Atkinson, and Jared Lamb. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Parker and David Rivers.
