James,

I find that it has taken me far too long to say "anything" about your passing. Whenever I think about it I just freeze. Tonight is no different. I read over the words that those that knew you and loved you shared and I simply don't know what to say. What I do know is that you are GREATLY missed. You were wonderful and your spirit captured my heart the moment I met you. I loved your enthusiastic spirit for life and that smile...well, that's what I know I will miss the most. You did it often and when you did it made everyone around you smile too. I know that your legacy to be a wonderful and caring man will be carried out by your neice and newphews. Mike and Angela will make sure of it. Your love for a sunset, sunrise and the simplicity of the beautiful world we live in will be a part of their world. Thank you for being you. I'm so lucky to have gotten to know you. Hope that the big catch in the sky is as exhilerating as those on earth.

Jamie, my favorite memory of you is when you, Aric, Peggy and I hiked up the huge hills behind your house and we could see out over the valley. We were all on an adventure and it was like we were in a different world! All the swimming pool time and trampoline time at your house growing up and all the basketball time in our driveway at my house was some of my favorite memories as a kid! I couldn't believe how handsome you got in high school! Aric and I are thinking of you and your family. Love, Katy

James,

Mike and Angela brought you into our lives and you quickly became part of our extended family. From the annual camping trips to the beach, to the many Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, we shared many memories that will never be forgotten. We always looked forward to hearing about the amazing adventures you had been on....and boy you lived every day to its fullest! We hope you are at peace and will love and miss you forever and always!

Dear Sarah, Peggy, Margaret & Lloyd,
I just don't know what to say other than I am so sorry. I have fond memories of being at your house and watching Jamie wrestle around with Peggy. You two made me laugh, I loved being over there and feeling so much love. Margaret I know you loved him so much! Sarah and Peggy I know that he cared about you. I'm so sad they weren't able to find him. I haven't been home for a long time and I don't see or visit with you anymore...but I love you guys so much! You were another family to me. Sarah and Margaret- you were there for me when I felt I had nowhere else to go and I will love you forever for the kindness you showed me. I just wish there was something I could do for you in your time of sadness. You all will be in my prayers. Lloyd I love you too! All my love-

Dear Margaret, Lloyd, Sarah & Peggy-
I am so sorry to hear about Jammie. I loved that boy, his smile was genuine, it was truly beautiful! It has been difficult to comprehend, Jamie will always and forever be young and happy as I remember him when I lived in Centralia. I miss your family, I have good memories of you in my heart. I do understand your sorrow, my husband's oldest daughter and grand daughter were killed in November 2009. So I know there is nothing I can do or say to ease your pain, just know that you will be in our prayers and that I love you all! God bless you in this trial. Sincerely & with my love, Denise (Andrus) Bradford.

Alvin, words can't describe how much I miss you... I will be traveling tomorrow to see your family, but the most painful part of all is that you won't be there. We had such great times together and I will never forget any of them. I hope that you are at peace and you will be in my heart everyday of my life. I love you, Lexi

Jamie, You had the kindest heart and the biggest smile. Your example was amazing the way you treated every person. I will never forget that. I am so glad I was able to be your friend and grow up around you all those years. I still remember how you fought to win my basket in our ward activity so you could have what my mom made. I will also always remember the trip up to Neah Bay our senior year and you chasing those raccoons away and up the tree. I don't think I had ever laughed so hard. You are amazing my friend and although the years went by and we did not speak much I still cherish those memories and your kindness. I will miss you.

Jamie, you were an amazing athlete, a great friend and will be dearly missed by my entire family. Fun was always to be had when you were around. I will never forget the time you showed up at my place in Ellensburg on your way back to Pullman from some crazy ski trip. There was 2 feet of snow on the ground and you had driven that old Volvo over the pass stuffed full of skis, I couldn't stop laughing as you slid into the parking lot. Your smile will be missed and I hope you have found peace in the wilderness you loved so much. Chad Jewell (Centralia, WA)
