James Drew

Jim Drew guided the school through changing times. He will be missed.

Dr. Drew was always a gentleman. It was my pleasure to have worked with him at UAF and to have experienced his kindness. He will be missed.

I'm very honored to have known Jim. He was always positive, encouraging, and patient -- he made learning to fly fun. He was truly the best flight instructor a student could ever have!

Thank you, Jim, for all you did to encourage me and help me to learn to be better at my job. You were a great boss.

I cherrish my summer of 1999, flying with Jim in his pristine Piper Arrow to earn my commercial pilots certificate.

Those Saturday home cooked meals that Marilyn made were always a treat ~

Jim was a wonderful man and a great flight instructor ~

I will miss him ~

My thoughts are with his bride Marilyn and his family~

I am saddened by Jim's passing. He was a true gentleman who introduced me to US aviation in his ever so thorough manner! I wish his family strength and am privileged to have known him.
