Dear Shirley,Anne, Kristen and Susan:

I can't fully express to your family my feelings about Jim's passing. I will forever be in his debt for the many life and business lessons that he taught me. I repsected him for his talents, and most of all the love that he had for all of you. I had the opportunity to receive a letter from him this past October and it meant the world to me. He was an amazing man, with many friends, and I will miss him dearly. May God bless all of you.

Shirley, Jim is on my mind the moment I wake up in the morning. I used to pray to my Dad every day when I was preparing to go to work. We also lost him much too early at age 66. I told you years ago that he was the kindest, most gentle and honest person I ever knew. Bill Jerry and I were the luckiest brothers in the world to have had him as our father. Since Jim has passed my first activity of my day is to pray and talk to Jim. Jim had all of those charistic of my Dad and many more. I sure hope that the pain you and your wonderful family are going through eases a little day by day. You know that you have many friends who love you very much and will do anything to help you day by day or minute by minute.

Dear Shirley and Family,

I first met Jim at SI when he became a formitable member of the golf team. Shortly thereafter I also met Dennis and Bud. What a trio! The love and affection they had for each other was very apparent. The words at the service were very accurate. He was a wonderful person. Very loyal and honest with everyone he came in contact with. I will miss him, especially at the past president dinners. We are sorry to learn about Jim's passing. Living in the Chicago area we did not have many times to get together. We have great memories traveling to the bay area several years ago. You and Jim were great hosts and showed us a wonderful time. We also remember Jim's eulogy at your Dad's funeral. That to us really demonstrated his character. You are in our thoughts at this time. My Brother Denis loved Jim. His passing left a big void in Denis and Jan's family.

I thank Jim for being a true friend to Denis and I know Jim has many old San Francisco relationships that we will all treasure. We have fond memories of the Drucker family.

Dear Drucker Family: During the weeks preceding the 1998 US Open at Olympic, I had occasion to visit Jim at the bus offices to discuss something about The Open. I personally enjoyed being out of the darn newspaper office and down in the gritty part of town. Jim was an inspiration to me -- I now drive a bus for United Cerebral Palsy of San Luis Obispo, taking the developmentally disabled to their rounds. It's a "people" job -- and Jim was a great "people" person.

I worked for Jim when I was a teenager washing busses. I can remember washing his car about once a week. This was probably the best job a teenager could have. I am sorry for your loss.

I am so, so very sorry for your loss. Having just spoken with Jim around the holidays, sounding better and positive, I can only imagine the profound sorrow your family must be experiencing. Since his retirement, whenever we spoke, his family and particularly his grandchildren were clearly at the center of his life and most certainly his heart. If men are measured in part by the wide reach of their friendships and how much they were respected and loved by others in life, then Jim will surely find himself in the most adoring of company in the great beyond. I will remember him most fondly.

My heart just broke in half when I heard about Uncle Jimmy. The last time I saw him was on at our Drucker Family Reunion 12/26/2004 and he was so happy! Honestly, I can't even picture him with out a smile on his face. Even Darren (my husband) shared how much he appreciated Uncle Jimmy who always made Darren feel welcomed and part of our family. Please know that although I/we may not make it to the service in SF, I will be spending time, on my knees, in my church during the time of his service. Hugs, Kisses, and Much love to you all, Mia

I regret never telling you how much you meant to me. You treated me like a son and provided me with opportunity. I once heard someone decribe the great Bobby Jones as "a man of unimpeachable character who possesed a moral compass that never wavered from due north". That describes you perfectly. I have many memories of you and the great things that you did for people. I admired your passion for family, business and golf. You were a man who exemplified grace and compassion. I will always remember how great you treated my father. His admiration for you was tremdous. I will never forget that day at Olympic in '98, that is a memory that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Your family and friends miss you dearly. I miss you! Love you Jim! Denny
