GREENSBORO — James A. Ducharme, 63, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 12, 2009, at his home.
A 7 p.m. memorial service will be held at Forbis & Dick North Elm Chapel on Tuesday, February 17, with Rev. Roswell John Hallenbeck officiating.
A Bristol, Connecticut, native, he was born April 6, 1945, the son of the late Joseph Albert and Violet Grindle Ducharme. He was of the Methodist faith. He retired from General Dynamics with over 37 years of service.
James is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kathleen H. Ducharme, of the home; three children, Mark Ducharme and wife, Tanya, of Winston-Salem, Matthew Ducharme and wife, Mia, of Reidsville and Mareka Ducharme Baker and husband, Charles, of Apex; five grandchildren, James and Michael Ducharme, Amanda Edmonds, Nichols and Kathryn Ducharme; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Grayson Edmonds.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, at Forbis & Dick North Elm Chapel.
