Dear Fran and Johnny,
We cannot begin to tell you how deeply sorry we are about your loosing Jay. We want to extend to you our deepest sympathy and let you know how much your love and friendship has meant to us over the years. I will never forget when our small family moved next door to you in the early 70's. Nick and I were so young with two small children. You and Jay embraced us and made us feel welcomed and loved. You changed my life forever giving me confidence when I had none. You recommended me for a job that I thought I could not do. You were always there with an ear to listen and confort. Wendy and Chris always enjoyed being around you and Jay because you always made them feel welcomed and loved. We so enjoyed all the trips we took together, the beach, I had never seen the ocean before when you first invited us to the beach for a few days. That trip led to many more trips to the beach with our families. How we used to go pick apples in the fall. I will never forget Jay taking pictures of the girls when they were little. I still have some of thoes pictures framed. The fun we had laughing over anything, of sharing the good times and the pain of the bad times. Nick and Jay's fishing together, and the time we drove all the way to New Port News to go bowling. Fran, you and Jay will always hold a special place in our hearts and of course Johnny and Jimmy are there as well.
Fran you are a truly remarkably woman and I know that Johnny and your grand children are very proud of you. We will continue to pray for you and Johnny and know that Gods Grace will continue to see you through. We will always treasure the time we all had together.
Jay hasn't gone away because he has a special place in our hearts forever.
We love you,
Nick, Jane, Wendy and Chris
