Jim Dunbar: A man of Integrity, High Moral Values, Very Knowledgeable, and a Dear Friend to Treasure. I often recall the many pleasant times we spent together, be it doing Theater Organ activities, Movie Theater Operation, Military and Aircraft events, or discussing everything else from A to Z. So many Cherished Memories that help me lesson the sadness of his departure. Bless you Reva, without your Love & Care we certainly would not have had Jim to enjoy as long as we did. Do I believe in Angels on Earth, most certainly - because I know you're one, Thank You so much Reva.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Jim played the organ nearly every day, until the last few weeks of his life. He lapsed into a coma caused by his CO2 being too high, but still could hear everything going on around him. The nurses told us his oxygen level rose when anyone played the organ for him. The last day, I played for a couple of hours at two different times. The nurse told me his oxygen level went from 60-70 up to the 90's and stayed there all night the last night. It was comforting to know that he heard the music and responded although we couldn't see that. I keep thinking he is just in the other room... but I wouldn't want him to suffer again. God Bless you all.

No matter who you were, Jim treated everyone with such respect and made you feel so special. He was witty and funny and such a delight to be around! What really got my attention was his faithfulness in going to church and the importance he put on it. What a precious and sweet man!

Thank you Reva for taking such loving care of Jim in his later years. Jim and his wife Connie were very good and generous friends throughout my years at LAD. What I will miss most is Jim's humor -- always kept us laughing. He will be missed. May the angels take care of you, too, Reva.

Uncle Jim,
You were my Godfather, guide, mentor, and my best friend. Your gentle guidance has done a great deal of good for me. I will miss talking to you on the phone, and laughing at the jokes we shared. We love you, and will miss you greatly.
