Wish to express my sorrow at the passing of Jim. I remember him and Fern from St. Andrew's and St. John's churches as we connected at both over the years. I always enjoyed our chats and Jim's humour and his caring ways. I also remember when his grandson played baseball with my son years ago. I wish the family healing in time and may you all remember loving memories.

Dear Jim and family members.Please accept my deepest sympathies in the passing of your father.I have known Mr.Emslie since 1970 when his son jimmy and i played on the fastball Newports baseball team.Mr.Emslie never missed a game to cheer us all on.We kept in touch over the years meeting at the kitchener market on a regular basis.He was a great father and family man.My thoughts and prayers are with this family during this time of sorrow.sincerely.Randall Patrick Powers.
