James Epp

James William Epp James William Epp passed away at his home on July 8, 2009. He was born to Melvin and Annie Epp on May 17, 1957. James spent his entire life on the farm; his childhood west of Langham and his adulthood north of Langham. He loved watching his crops come up and harvesting. He was an incredibly hard worker. He worked 25 years for federated CO-OP feed plant, and then came home each day to farm. James is survived by his wife, Nancy; his father, Melvin (Doris), and three children that he loved more than anything: Thomas, Laura, and Heather; sister, Mavis (Russ); brothers, Myron (Patti) and Bob (Lori); several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. James spent his whole life singing and was involved with choirs and ensembles. For many years he directed the senior church choir and male choir at the Zoar Mennonite Church. He also enjoyed camping and vacationing with his family, golfing, and church social activities. Education was very important to James. He started university at the age of 43 and worked hard enough to receive the gold medal. He wanted the best opportunities for his children and encouraged them to keep learning. We are deeply thankful to our church family at Zoar for the abundant love, time and encouragement that they gave to James over these past few years. Viewing for family and friends will be on Sunday July 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Dalmeny Funeral Home, Dalmeny, SK. Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Zoar Mennonite Church, 110 1st Street East, Langham, SK.
