He was born Jan. 16, 1924 in Vandergrift to Archibald S. and Goldie (Schreckengost) Eroh. Mr. Eroh was a land agent for Pittsburg and Shawmut and a surveyor for Allegheny River Mining Company, retiring in 1980. An Army veteran, he served during World War II. His memberships included the BPOE 203 where he was a past exalted ruler, Masonic Lodge 805 and Kittanning VFW. Survivors include his wife, Lucille (Farster) Eroh; three sons, Jack Eroh of Kittanning, James M. Eroh of Olney, Md. and Jeff Eroh of Kittanning RD3; two daughters, Mrs. Royce (Joan) Young of Ford City RD1 and Mrs. Robert (Jane) Hulings of Kittanning; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary Jean (Beiter) Eroh, who died in October 1961; one infant brother; and two sisters, Maxine Eroh and Rita Trakas. EROH ? Friends of James F. Eroh, 79, of 306 South St., Kittanning, who died March 16, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, where the Elks will hold a Memorial Service at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday and where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
