" Char, Vicki and Jennifer. We wish we could be with you at this time. Just want you to know we are thinking of you. It has been a long 13 mos, but how lucky Jim was to always have you there with him. It had to have given him great comfort to have you by his side. Especially, when he knew the end was near. How strong you all must have been.. We send our sincere sympathy to all of you and your families...... You're a wonderful family with lots of friends, who will see you through this sad time." It's hard to say goodbye to a friend we have known for so many years. We had so many good times at Gull Lake camping when our kids were young. As our children grew up and moved out, we still enjoyed great times playing cards and wintering together in retirement. We played some wicked farkle games and marble games, but now God needed a wonderful man who was a good woodworker to help Jesus. God be with you Char and family. I have added a picture from one of our camper get togethers in St. Cloud.

Jim was a very special man. He was my mentor when I first started at Hoffman and we remained friends for a long time. My condolences to your whole family. We will always remember him fondly.

Jim was my boss at Hoffman Enclousers in Anoka. We had a wonderful working relationship. He made working joyful.
He was the kind of friend anyone would be blessed to have.

Deepest sympathies on your loss. It was evident how special he was to you by the loving care you gave him through this process. Clearly a wise and blessed man to have had women of such admirable character surrounding him. My thoughts are with you. Warmly- Marie (one of Jennifer's friends)
