Fortune, James Sheldon
James was called home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2023. He
was a true Christian, a loving husband to his wife Mary Louise for 58 years, who preceded him in death. He was a beautiful and compassionate father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. To know him was a gift from God.
James leaves to celebrate his life: 1 daughter Angela Davis (Alan): 3 sons Jeff (Cassandra), David, Darryl; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Daughter Renee Ellis and Gwen Tate preceded him in death.
Services: Visitation Services January 15, 2023, 4-7 p.m., Gospel Temple COGIC, 113 Thornton, Webster Groves, MO 63119; Funeral: January 16, 2023, Viewing 9 a.m & Funeral Starts 10:00, First Baptist Church, Webster Groves, 3251 S. Brentwood Blvd., Webster Groves, MO 63119. Interment Lake Charles Cemetery.
