James Anthony Frederick, 70, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, in Louisville, KY. He was born on September 11, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, to James Alexander Frederick and Dorothy Lou Frederick (née Judge).

Uncle Jimmy, I am truly heartbroken by your passing. I remember growing up seeing you in your Army uniform and I thought you looked so cool in it. You are the reason why I joined the Navy. When I would receive your letters, you always made me smile because you would always put a surprise in it like a charm, a stick of gum, a stamp, some kind of little craft you made or some money. It reminded me of Grandpa doing the same thing. No matter your challenges you always had a good sense of humor about everything. I will miss your laugh, smile and kindness. You will always be loved and remain forever be in my heart, thoughts, and memories. I love you Uncle Jimmy.

Jimmy thinking about you and your sense of humor and it brought a smile to my face. When I think of you it'll be about your humor and your beautiful laugh and smile. Till we meet again I love you baby brother. Betty
