My Dad was a great man in my eyes. He has and will always remain my hero. I remember running up to him when ever he came home from work, and he would pick me up in his arms and we would just start talking about his day. I thank God every day that I had the chance to really get to know my Dad as I became an adult. He was always learning, and we always had long good talks about every thing. I would always stay close to Dad, follow him every where and he also liked me helping him with whatever he would be doing.
I'll never get over losing you Dad, and you will always and forever be with me in my heart. I will always keep my promise to you Dad. I too along with Jeff, will see you soon one day. I know you hear me talking to you and that you feel my love for you reaching up to the heavens.
Your Loving daughter Patti Jane, you're "True Grit".

He was my dad; I loved him like no other man. I thank the Lord each day that I live that I had the courage and the opportunity to say what I needed before he passed on. Throughout my life I’ve heard it said that people sometimes feel closer to their loved one who has passing on than ever before …now I can relate. Dad was human, but he was also a saintly man. If I can attain only a portion of his devotion to the Holy Family; I will consider myself greatly blessed. Dad, you’ve completed a journey that you’ve been preparing for—for years. I wish you all the luck of the world, and a tender blessing from The Father—I’ll see you again …soon.

Sorry to hear of your loss. He was a very nice man. Please give me a call if you want to talk. I am sorry that I was not able to see you all when I was back this summer. When these kind of things happen, it makes me wish that I could see everyone each time I come to visit.
Miss and love you all!
