Many fond memories, but many tears too. Love & sympathy to each of the family who loved JR, who was a precious brother-in-law to me. Thank you Katie for letting me know of his passing on to be with so many others we miss.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of JR. Our prayers are with the family. We enjoyed many visits when JR would come to TN with Sam. JR was a true friend and we loved him and will miss him. We shared alot of good times and laughs.

J.R.'s was a great friend to everyone. His wonderful sense of humor will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that has suffered this great loss.

JR was a wonderful human being. He was my neighbor,my freind, my gardening advisor and my cooking expert. We so...enjoyed sharing recipes and cooking meals together. I will alway cherish his memory and my vacations from school will be very lonely. I feel fortunate to have had JR in my life.

I am so sorry to read about "J.R.". I worked with him while I was in college at the White Stores in Burlington and he always had that smile. Both J.R. and John would keep me laughing all of the time and I remember Brian coming in when he was a toddler--you were "his light".
Family you were so Blessed to have him--and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

JR - What a character. As a long time friend we enjoyed discussing the outcome of the Gators/Vols football games. A Chef, gardner, entertainer - he had it all and really knew how to treat his friends. I will certainly miss him and will cherish the memories of him forever.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of J.R. We never met him but have heard lots of good things from our friend Sam Smith. Our prayers are with Sam and the family.
