AGE: 36 • formerly of Sayreville
Fulsome, CA
James Anthony Gilligan, age 36, formerly of Sayreville, passed away Monday October 17, 2016 at his home in CA. Born in Manhattan, NY, he had resided in Sayreville for many years. James was a retired US Marine Corporal. He served in the Marine Corps for over 5 years during the Iran/Afghanistan Conflict. He was a Sayreville War Memorial High School graduate and was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville.
He is predeceased by his father Victor Gilligan.
Surviving are his aunts Teresa Gilligan, Ruth Gilligan, Maura Vince, Christine Carthy, his uncle Michael Gilligan, his grandmother Ann Gilligan, his sisters Jennifer Dempsey, Justine Angenend, his mother Gloria DiCindio, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday November 11, 2016 7:30pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin. A private burial will take place at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4pm to 9pm.
