James Wayne Gilliland

To me he was known as Uncle Wayne. I loved listening to his stories as a child. I got to see how much he loved his daughters. There are no words. By the smiles on his face the last few weeks I know how much he loved his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. My prayers for the family for peace and comfort. Sending my love to all of you.

I spoke with Wayne a few weeks ago and was disheartened to know he was having such a difficult time, physically. At that time he shared that he didn't know when it would be his time to go, but he said he could not have asked for a better life having raised beautiful children and enjoying his grandchildren. There is nothing he was more proud of. My condolences to the Gilliland family.
He will be missed.
