James Glass Obituary
50, of Taylorsville, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018.
Jimmy was born in Louisville to Suzanne M. Dierken Glass and the late Donald Raymond Glass, Sr. He was a driver for UPS where he had 28 years of service; and was a Catholic by faith.
Preceding him in death was his father, Donald Raymond Glass, Sr., and a niece Sarah Lydia Glass.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Young Glass; son, Andrew Michael Glass; daughter, Holly Antoinette Glass; mother, Suzanne M. Glass; sister, Renee Sowder (Dan); brothers, Donald R. Glass, Jr. (Sherri), John Glass and Lee Glass; as well as a granddaughter, Lily Glass.
His funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, where visitation will be 10 AM until service time at 1 PM. Burial will follow his service in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to The Healing Place in his memory. Online condolences may be directed to www.ratterman.com.

Jimmy glass was a great man and father to me. I am still facing hardship everyday because he is not beside me in life. I will always remember your hard working, caring , generous soul no matter what. I miss you so much dad, the only thing that helps is knowing your in heaven watching over me. Love your daughter.

I am so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. I remember growing up across the street and all the fun times the neighborhood kids on Glenworth Ave. had back in the day. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May he Rest In Peace.

I want Jimmy's family to know that I am praying for all of you as you go through this difficult time. We can just be grateful that he is in a better place now and there is no more suffering, pain, or things to worry about. When we get together again it will be in a beautiful place.
