In memory of
Carol Ann Coldren
April 30, 2002
Jim - I have known you for so many years, we were kids together. We had so much fun. When we started our life we had great hopes and dreams. While our dream never materialized as we planned, I thank you for our four wonderful children, the best anyone could ever want.
Intercede for our children and grandchildren and rest in peace in Our Lord's loving arms.

Dad, I saw this poem and thought of you!!
I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still- I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone-
I am with you still in each new dawn.
I miss you dearly and will love you always!!!!!!!!!

I miss my Uncle Jim. It is just that simple.
Thank you Uncle Jim and Aunt Carol for taking time for John & me. You both had your own busy lives with blended families and you never once made either one of us feel unwanted in your home, or unloved. I truly felt at home in your house during those summmer visits. John & I both adored Uncle Jim. I wish that my children could have enjoyed that wonderful Uncle, as well. Anyway, they will hear my stories and they will pass them on to their children.

Dad - I will miss you greatly, sometimes it is too overwhelming to think about. You have taugt me so much about life and I know in your own way you will continue to teach me (and I promise to keep learning). I love you always - Deb
To all those who cared - On behalf of my family I would like to extend a thank you to all who loved my dad and considered him a friend. I was touched by the outpouring of support and only now am I realizing how many lives he touched.

Jim was a wonderful father to my wife Debi. Debi was always so exicted to speak with her Dad on history and politics. Jim's simplistic nature and spirit will live on in all who had the chance to know him. His warm smile and comfortable approach to life was all that anyone could want and look for within themselves. We are proud to have known him as father and friend.

Thank you all for the very nice comments both here and in person. We will all miss him very much. Not just those in his family but those in his other family - you guys.
He was the best Dad a boy could have.

~~In an instant, our lives were changed, you are gone, and nothing will ever be the same.~~ No words can express how much Jim meant to me. Jim was more to me than just "my boss", he was my 2nd dad. I'm so thankful that Jim allowed me to be a part of his life and his heart. Love, Sandy

Jim & I had worked together for a
number of years here at Alemite.
It was a pleasure working with him
and we became good friends over the
years. I would like to express my
sincere sympathy to Godwin family
and please know that he will be missed greatly by myself and others.

It was a pleasure to know Jim during my years at Alemite. He always made me feel like I was doing a good job-whether it was fixing a problem he was having with insurance or benefits, or delivering his paycheck to his office. He was always appreciative of my efforts. I appreciated his words of wisdom, his chuckle, and enjoyed our "Catholic" conversations. My prayers are with his family at this sad time. I know that you will be greatly missed, Jim. "May the angels carry you onto paradise..."

Jim was a mentor as well as a caring friend. The years I worked for and with Jim were the best of my tenture with Alemite. We traveled together many times and during those trips he most often talked about his wife Carol and their children. He appreciated and loved them dearly.

Jim will be really missed at Alemite. I have worked real close with Jim, for about 9 1/2 years, and
he was always very helpful, and considerate. My job will not be the same without him.
My prayers go out to his family.
