I was a member of the Morgan State Women's Basketball Team. I remember Jim very well and his "evangelistic" ways of bringing Christ to the forefront of my life. He impressed me how he could live without the peer pressure. Jim was truly a pioneer in the faith. I just learned the news of his passing when another member of the team died yesterday. My condolences to the family, may God's love continue to flourish in your family.

Jim and I were very good friends at Morgan State. We both gave our lives to the Lord in 1976. I'm sorry we lost touch over the years, but I have so many fond memories of Jim.

I am saddened for the Gorman family's loss. We were neighbors in Chartwell. Jim, Gary and I played lots of baseball on the 3rd hole behind Jim's home. He and I managed to get on the field at Memorial Stadium after the final 1971 WS game and celebrate with the winners. We reunited in 2005 at RFK for the Senators return to Washington. Those will always be great memories. He will be missed.

I was a good friend of Bob’s in Severna Park and played a lot of basketball in the Gorman driveway until Dad would turn the lights out which meant Gormans INSIDE - non-Gormans good night - go home! We had fun!

My sister and I grew up on Southwood in Muskegon next to the Gormans. They are a wonderful family and we were privileged to count them as friends. My prayers to you all on the loss of your beloved Jim. He's in God's loving arms now.

My condolences to the family. Jimmy was a great friend and schoolmate at Morgan State. As a former basketball athlete and alumnus, he continued to support Morgan for years. May he Rest In Peace.

It’s been a long time since I have seen Jim but my memories are of the happiest guy going. He could always bring a smile and laugh out of you on your worst days. God Bless you Jim.
