I saw James Gregory when he came to Jacksonville Florida. I always loved his "folksy southern" humor. Rest in peace, James. You will be greatly missed!

I ran across one of his acts on you tube and was hooked from then on. I typically hunted for most of his comedy acts and certainly will miss him. May God comfort his family.

James Gregory was hilarious! His mannerisms and facial expressions when he was on stage were the absolute best! My husband and I saw him several times and he never failed to keep us laughing from beginning to end of his shows. He talked about normal everyday things and made them so funny. He will truly be missed. The happiness and laughter he brought to so many people was a blessing. Thank you Mr Gregory for sharing your sense of humor with the rest of us. We will never forget you and the happiness you brought to our lives!

I was fortunate enough to see him in person and he undoubtedly was The Funniest Man in America. For an hour+ I was unaware of any negative issues that existed in my life. James made the audience feel as if he were a friend or relative. He will be missed beyond words. Thank you, James. Well done!

I just found out today that this very funny man has passed away. A video of him popped on my YouTube one day for some reason, and I thought he was so funny. Not too many clean comics these days. Condolences to his family and friends. From Sydney Australia.

I would have loved to go to one of your shows, however my hearing problems makes that impossible. I love to listen to your comedy on my telephone and do over and over again. I never get tired of listening to your humor. I still keep hunting for new material that I may have missed. You have given me hours, days and months of enjoyment. Took my husband to see a show for a birthday gift.y husband verybad health. After the show waited inline to buy atee shirt , He signed and gave it to him. The show was wonderful ,he was too.

Great guy to know. Did lots of work at his home in Milton for over 25 years.

Discovered his comedy on YouTube and never had the privilege to see him in person. I could watch him over and over again and laugh every time. His style is rare today, he will be missed. But his gift of laughter will live on through the internet.

I only recently discovered James and his humor. Now he´s gone. I suspect his humor will live on.

Saw him for the first time on our about the day of his passing before it was announced. We live in Fort Payne Alabama and I have been in the trucking business for years. Before I even knew about YouTube or had the time to know about him. I didn't want anything to do with most so called comedy because most of it was too trashy for a family to listen. Then I was scrolling through YouTube and heard him and was shocked to find out about his passing. He seemed to know where he was going when his Soul left the gravity of this earth. But, God knows that we need to have good clean humor. I wish that I could have known him personally, when I got to Heaven I plan to meet him in person. George W

I had listened to one of Mr. Gregory´s old routines just a few days before he passed away. I enjoyed him so much. I appreciate his Southern outlook, his general style and his very funny shows. I very much appreciate that he adhered to family values - he was a master at his craft without resorting to vulgarities and shock.

Funny as could be RIP

I loved watching his videos. He was so funny but I noticed a good hearted man. I was scheduled to watch his show in Lexington Kentucky but ended up going to the ER. I was so disappointed.

I saw his act in Lexington, Kentucky & loved it. He certainly could turn everyday life events into a realistic & fun experience which everyone could relate to. His timing was perfect.

So sorry to hear that he has past. He caused so many belly laughs and spewed drinks. :)

I started watching James about 1 yr ago, I was going thru some rough times but James stories about the family and mobile homes lifted me right out of my funk. I will miss him deeply. R I P

I've seen & met him once & ended up having lunch with him. He made me laugh so hard during lunch that I literally spit out my food in the restaurant! Thanks for all the laughs. I only discovered James a couple years ago and I fell in love with his wit and his smile. Gone but never to be forgotten. Rest easy.

I've listened and watched him so many times, he will be so missed. He brought just the funniest, good and clean comedy to us. Go rest high on the mountain Sir Gregory you deserve that, you have brought so much laughter and joy into our lives. Many of us were hurting over something in our lives and you brought us joy and laughter even if it was just for a little while.

After a long day I could always count on him to make me laugh and now that he's gone he'll be missed but I'll still have him to make me laugh

We have watched Mr. Gregorys' videos, mostly on YouTube, for several years and attended his show in Myrtle Beach SC in January. So sad for your loss as well as the loss to all that enjoyed his humor. We will continue to watch his comedy skits as long as they are available. One of the Best comedians ever.

I just discovered his comedy on You Tube and I find him very funny! Just saw in the comments of one of his videos today (May 16, 2024) that he died! Condolences to his family!!

From tornadoes to trailer parks to the food served at funeral visitations, I have never laughed so hard in my life....and it didn´t matter how many times I heard it. I will like the comedy world a lot less without you in it Mr. Gregory!
