James Gregson

GREGSON, James Ronald It is with sadness we announce that James Ronald Gregson passed away Friday, March 7, 2008. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lola, and family of four daughters, four grandchildren, spouses, and four great-grandchildren. Ron was born in Standish, England, and brought to Canada as an infant, where his family settled in Nanaimo, B.C. Attracted to music, Ron learned to play a cornet and played in the Nanaimo City Band, and later when posted to Edmonton, in the R.C.A.F. Band. As a Certified Management Accountant, he served on the C.M.A. board, and was accountant and office manager of Edmonton Motors for thirty-two years, retiring in 1985. A special thank-you to the staff of Grandview Continuing Care Centre for their care.
