A father is a daughters first true love. It's been 18 days since I last held your hand and kissed your head. Every day that passes gets harder and harder to be away from you. I find peace in our memories. I find joy in my daughters laughter just as I know you always did. I'm forever grateful for every minute we spent together. Thank you for every thing you've ever done; for me and everyone else. I'll spend my life trying to fill your shoes in attempt to make the world a better place. Loved you yesterday, love you still. Always have always will. See you son daddy

Your dad was one of my most favorite co-workers in a long and tangled career. Your dad was tough on the newbie, believe me.
But over time as you worked your way through apprenticeship and earned his trust we became a highly skilled machine. At the time, nobody moved as much seafood in this town as your dad and his basket full of apprentices. Your dad, paired with a family of multi-generational experience, and you had East Coast Seafood.
I still remember the smell at that old building on VanBuren. I can hear his voice belting out raunchy impromptu lyrics over the top of something playing on the radio.
Any guy that can get a room full of grown men to spontaneously start singing together, in this politically correct country we live in, is something special.
Gonna miss you Jimbo

Jim was the most knowledgeable seafood person that I had ever met. I had the opportunity to be Jim's Sales Manager at Pacific Seafood for four plus years. There was never a dull moment. Jim was passionate about his job, customers and especially the Green Bay Packers. We will miss you.

Through the magic of social media - we were able to reconnect again after 35 years - I had many, many good times with Jim back in our Wausau days, and just feel lucky to have spent a few moments with him last year in Lambeau Field. Jim, we are all so fortunate to have had the chance to know your smile, your humor, and your beauty. Godspeed. Thom Amundsen, Savage, MN - East '77

I am heartbroken over the loss of Jim. Working with him was such a pleasure. I loved how he was always concerned about my health as I was going through a divorce and how he was always showing us videos and pictures of his beautiful granddaughter:) We will miss you Jim
