GUTHRIE, James William At Hotel Dieu Hospital, in Windsor, on Thursday, March 13, 2003, James William Guthrie, age 57, dear husband of Marlene Eleanor Meloche, of Windsor. Loving father of Patty of Sarnia, Elsie of Chatham, Jamie of London and Steven of Corunna, step-father of Michelle Trudell of Windsor and eight grandchildren. Brother of Marlene White of Parry Sound, Mary Jane Guthrie all of Sarnia, Michael Guthrie and Patty Bouchard and her husband Paul all of B.C. and Terry Guthrie of London and special uncle of Darlene Guthrie. He was predeceased by a brother John and sister Jeannie Rice. Born in Sarnia, Mr. Guthrie had been a Windsor resident for the past 20 years. He had been employed as a seaman with the Shell Oil Fleet. Funeral Services will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. Robb Funeral Home, (102 North Victoria St., Sarnia) on Monday March 17 at 11 am. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery.
