Rest in peace, my good friend.

Sandy, Doug Burgin from Baton Rouge recently told me about this. I am so sad and sorry to hear this. I wish I had known sooner. Jim and I took many marketing road trips for MBJ, including New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Rock Island, Davenport, Mobile, Cleveland, Chicago, and other cities. He was a good friend and confidant. He will be missed dearly.

Our heart goes out to Sandy and Kristen. This is such a shocker. Jim was always so full of life. Jim & Sandy have been dear friends to me and Shelly for over 20 or 25 years. Very quick witted and always ready for a one liner from several assorted classic movies. Jim and Sandy have been visiting us for years, whether we were in Omaha or Louisville. Huge supporter of SAME and USACE. Have bag will travel; Jim was always ready to grab a flight and work the halls of a USACE District or attend a conference at a moments notice. I will always miss his smiling face in our Omaha office. There will forever be a void in the halls of the Omaha District and on our SAME Golf Team that Jim started years ago and organized every year. We always said the best wood in Jims bag was his pencil. God Bless you Jim, I will never forget you! Butch
