Dear Hardy family,
Coach had an impact on many of us at Sequoyah, and the lessons he taught me about honor and character have guided me the last 40 years. I was blessed to have Jim as a positive influence on my life. I am sorry for your loss and offer my deepest sympathies.

My childhood friend....we lived on the same street, played together, schooled and grew up together, shared many friends that we still have today, you the envy of the neighborhood since you were the only kid on the street with a pool in his backyard. Unique for the early 50's to say the least!! While we lost contact as we went off to separate colleges, we stayed in touch through those many friends me made as children.....your presence will be missed....always smiling when I saw you, you were a true gentleman each time me met....God Bless!!!!!

Dear Candy, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sadness. We were so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. His love for family, human and pups, his friends and"the Lake"are memories we will keep of a good neighbor and a good friend.

I will remember and miss "Coach" always.

A true gentleman's gentleman! He always had a warm smile and gentle words for everyone. Never heard him complain or speak ill of anyone. He set a very high bar for living life. He will be missed.
