I will always remember you with utmost respect. I knew you as Dave and Jim's father, and husband of my friend Violet. You were reputed to be "a scary guy" at the time, but were always kind to me. And on occasion, I had the rare opportunity to see amusement in your eyes at the antics of us teenagers, struggling, and trying to come of age in your presence. Semper Fidelis & May God Bless & keep your soul.

Papa, you have always been in my heart; my mind is filled with happy memories of my young childhood and you. You made a playhouse for Tonya and I, played in the yard with us, and loved us. I am so proud to have been part of your family, your life. Now you are at peace with our Father in heaven, such a joyous end and beginning. I love you.

Dad I will never forget you. You were a strong individual and fought a good fight. It's a comfort to know you are finally home and at peace. I will always love and remember you. God speed Father, and Semper Fidels Marine
