I am so sorry to hear about Steve's passing. I worked with Steve for several years in the KyANG. He was a good and gentle man, a HUGE UofK fan, and a crossword-puzzle wizard. May he rest in peace in God's comfort!

Steve will always hold a special place in my heart. I was in the Ky Air National Guard for 29 years and Steve was my first supervisor. He was a caring and lovable man who touched so many throughout his life. My thoughts and prayers go out to Joy and Buddy.

Steve was an important figure in the Guard family. Everyone knew and like Steve because he did his job well and he didn't complain. He was supportive of all the Guard activities. He will be missed.

I knew Steve almost from day one, he was a good friend and fun to be with. Many years and hundreds of dollars were spent at the club shooting craps and drinking beer. I hope to see you later Steve. Harpo.

Buddy,
My thoughts and prayers are with your sister and you. I know the last year and a half has been tough for everyone that loved your dad. If you need anything, please let me know.
God Bless.

I have had the privilege of knowing Steve for a long time in the Air Guard. I always remember his quiet demeanor, and subtle humor Later, when Buddy joined Security Forces, we played many retiree scrambles together. He could hit a 3 Iron like nobody's business!! He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace, and prayers and blessing for the family

Steve was a really good guy, a great UK fan, and a great Kentucky Airguardsman! We shared lots of expereiences together for over 12 years in the KyANG...I will always remember our many sports conversations, and playing in the golf scrambles with Steve, Kiwi, Mike Menting, Johnny Jones and so many others. May he rest in peace.

I was a member of the KYANG for 36 years, and knew Steve from the time he enlisted. He was a bright and pleasant man who will be missed by many.
