Father Harrington married us in 1989 at Sacred Heart Church. I remember him telling me that he had been all around the world and he felt very blessed to live in Manchester-By-the Sea as it was the most beautiful place he had ever seen. Rest in Peace Father Harrington. As we know you are in a very beautiful place now too. -

I believe Father Harrington touched the lives of everyone, in every parish he served.
May he rest in peace.

Dear Ann,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. He was one of the best. I'm sure you know how I felt about him. He was truly a great friend to both my wife, Carol and myself. He will be greatly missed.

Father Harrington was a big influence in my troubled teenage years. Being a typical "wild colonial boy", Father kept me on the "straight and narrow". Bike Week in Daytona Beach will not be the same without my yearly 2 day visit with Father in his beautiful home in Fort Meyers. We had a lot of laughs, good times, great dinners and did a lot of reminiscing of all my favorite nuns at St Michael's. I am very happy that I was able to take the good Father out several times before he got sick, in my Classic '49 Cadi Limo. He got a big kick out of it. He will certainly be missed.

Fr Jim, you were like a father to me and helped me so much (as did Supat) in a time of my life when I needed it so much. I am so saddened by your passing and will always remember your love, extreme kindness and generosity.

And I know that you were fortunate to have had such a true friend as Supat.

Father had a firm yet kind way to keep 8th. grade boys in line at St. Michael's. Although he was there only a short time, he is the most memorable priest to me. This is probably why "the boys" followed him to St. Mary's, Cardinal Cushing, and taking him to lunch in Ft. Myers and most recently in Manchester By the Sea with the boys in the previous photo. Nice meeting Supat too through Father. Great memories of a great man. The old Centralville kids will all miss you. Rest in peace, Father.

Father Harrington was a big influence in my life. Just an everyday priest who could relate to troubled teens. Wish there were more people in this world like him.
Thanks for all that you did for us Father. Glad we took you to lunch last year (see photo below). Our memories of you will last forever. Rest in peace Father.

Thank you Father Harrington for being a true influence during my formative years at Cardinal Cushing Academy. I have wonderful memories of my entire CCA experience. You were a great Headmaster to all!

I am not a Catholic nor religious, but Father Harrington was an exceptional man. I loved his sense of humor and he honestly cared about all. It didn't matter what your religious beliefs were.
No agenda for the Father, just one big heart.
