James Harrison Obituary
A native of Athens, Ga., Mr. Harrison was a son of Mrs. Cornelia B. Harrison and the late Mr. James Marion Harrison Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2009, at First A.M.E. Church, 521 North Hull St., Athens, Ga., Claude R. James, Pastor. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Cornelia B. Harrison; children, Dr. Marian L. Harrison, Charles A. Johnson and Yvette M. Anderson; brother, Dr. Robert E. (Joyce) Harrison Sr.; sisters, Jacquelyn H. (David) Mack and Patricia A. Harrison; one niece, three nephews and five grandchildren.
The family is at 493 Third St., Athens, Ga.
Gardenview Funeral Chapel, LLC has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harrison and I were very good friends. I visited him very often and enjoyed him tremendously. I loved to look at his college year
books and his Archer High School yearbooks. I am truly going to miss him and will not forget this valuable friendship.
