I was so deeply saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I was so lucky to have had the opportunity to have worked with such an amazing person at Aviva. He was a true champion of our people agenda and such a natural leader of his teams. My heartfelt condolences go to all of his family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jim Haskins's passing. I had the honour and privilege of working with him while I was at Aviva and cannot believe that he is gone. Jim had a great sense of humour, got the value of good communications immediately, and was someone who treated everyone with respect. Jim had an impact on my life for which I am eternally grateful. My deepest condolences to the Haskins family.

Haskin's Family - I was always so impressed with Jim's leadership skills and how he treated all that he came in contact with, with such fondness and personal attention. He was truly the every man and woman's leader. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was greatly sadden when I heard that Jim passed away. Jim was a great leader and provided great direction to me early in my career. I often would say if it wasn't for Jim I wouldn't be where I am today. My deepest sympathies go out to his family.

On those days when your pain is almost unbearable, I pray that God somehow reaches into those dark places and offers you comfort and rest. So sorry...

Susan and family - I was shocked and saddened to hear about Jim's passing. What a great guy! He made us smile, he shared his wisdom and he was a mentor to many - including me. But above all, he was so proud of all of you. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time - and you have many friends here in Toronto thinking about you.

Jim visited our NY Region several months ago and brought a wise perspective, an openness to dialogue and a genuine point-of-view. His brand of leadership represented all that is best about Allstate's culture. I can't even imagine what his wife and children and parents are feeling. What a loss...my prayers with the family.

Jim visited our Piedmont MCO a few years back,but I truly remembered how engaging he was. Here was a man in top management, however, he made you feel so comfortable around him, that he was like a breath of fresh air. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers to his wife, children, family and friends. He was definitely a genuine and authentic individual that touched others, even if his stay was brief in Charlotte.

Jim was a man that seemed to give so much more to the world than he took. I was stunned by the news of his passing, and extend my deepest heartfelt sympathies to Susan, his children, and all the friends whose lives were touched by Jim.
