James Kenneth Hawkins

Everytime we met Jim for our hunting adventures he would sing the worm song, and all my kids. "Those who do not master math, will work for those that do" It was always a joy so see him, listen to his stories and hunt along side him. Heaven has just recieved a Godly man. He'll be missed.

Love. I read nothing but love in this truly touching prose: felt in the expression of admiration, beauty of fatherhood and all its quirks, and a life of kindness. Never had the pleasure of meeting Jim but I feel I know him through his son, Chris, and now even more by reading and rereading this. Sons like Chris are hard to find without fathers like Jim. Peace and rest to the Hawkins family and extended family and friends. And fair winds and following seas, Jim.
