Jim will be sorely missed. He always had a smile. Highly knowledgeable on jet engines. He was not only a friend to everyone but an educator to some who had the honor of sitting in his classes. He once told me that his job in CMP was the best kept secret in the plant. It was truly an honor to have known Jim.My prayers go out to you and your family.

His can do attitude, his love for life, his family, his job, his military background, he kept us all smiling on a daily basis. I enjoyed getting to know Jim throughout the years here at Gulfstream. He was a true inspiration. He will be truly missed by all that had the honor to know him or cross paths with him. He's a memorable man.

In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
John 14:23, You are with the Father Now Jim.

May God's peace be with all of you! I am Blessed to say that I got to know Jim rather well. He taught me more than just what we needed to do at work. He is a great example of how a man should live. The love he showed for family and God was, well, intense. His stories of Marine life will be missed. To consider this a loss is incorrect. When you lose someone or something, you don't know where they are. You search and search and sometimes never know where they ended up. The Blessing here is, Jim is not lost, we know right where he is. He is standing next to our Lord!
Until we meet again Jim.

Jimmy's parents moved to Bishopville shortly after he was born. Jimmy and I were both members of the Bishopville Presbyterian Church from an early age until we finished high school in 1962. Jimmy was a real patriot during a very difficult time in the history of this country. I will always think fondly of Jimmy. My love and prayers go to his family.

He was the sweetest, kindest soul. A real joy to work with and a professional in every sense of the word. I know heaven will greet him with open arms. My sympathies to his family. Just remember he is gone but he will live on through your memories. Cling to them in your time of need. God bless.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Marilyn and the rest of Jim's family and friends. Jim was such a great man. He was very proud of his wife, children and grandchildren and would often share stories of you all with some of his fellow coworkers. To a few, he was like a Grandpa to us. He will be greatly missed!
