James Hedrick Obituary
A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2014, at Central Baptist Church.
Jim was born July 11, 1939, in El Paso. He married Barbara Fain on May 26, 1962. They were married 52 ½ years.
He served in sales for many years and retired from Wal-Mart in 2013 after building 83,000 bikes. He was known for his corny jokes and pulling tricks on friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dixie Hedrick.
Jim is survived by his wife, Barbara Hedrick of Plainview, formerly of Clovis; son, Robert Hedrick and wife, Jane of Corpus Christi; daughters, SuNell Pyeatt and husband, Niler of Plainview and GaLynn Pipes and husband, Sam of Crowley; grandchildren, Ashley, Ian, Cage, Colton, Gracie and RyLeigh; sister, Sally and husband, Ralph of El Paso; and two nieces.

Barbara and family, I know this has been coming for a long time but it is never easy to say goodbye. He was such a good man, a dedicated one and yes a very playful and funny one.
