I have fond memories as a young boy, sitting around campfires on jeep expeditions and listening to Jim tell stories--hIs huskies curled up nearby.
He was an iconic figure of my growing up years, in many ways he stood larger than life. I still tell some of his stories. He was a dear life-long friend to my dad and mom. Whenever I think of or visit the Colorado Rockies I will always remember Jim.
