I had the privilege of getting to know Jim this Fall. He was quick witted, and loved to tell us about his stamp collection. He was kind and had a great sense of humor. He was proud of his family and shared his pictures of them. He shared experiences in the armed services. He was quite humble, talking about the men he served with. He was loved and respected. He will be missed.

Jim and I became friends at Brecon Village in Saline. I was working at the front desk and Jim would visit daily. He LOVED collecting stamps and coins. He actually got me involved in collecting quarters from every state! He shared many stories of his military life, meeting and marrying his wife.He adored her and missed her after her passing. I will always remember you Jim! R.I.P.Anita Acree

I knew Jim at Pittsfield Senior Center - he always had a smile and loved his card games and his stamps. He was a wonderful man and I always enjoyed our times together. His birthday parties were great!!
